Job Title Application Support Specialist - Co.Wate

Our client, a Co. Waterford based company currently have a vacancy for an Application Support Specialist . This is a fantastic opportunity to join a hardworking environment with excellent opportunities for growth and personal development.

The role:

  • Provide high quality software support to customers via telephone, email and on-site
  • Provide problem analysis and resolve customers issues and queries
  • Ensure all correspondence is logged in the appropriate databases
  • Working alongside other team members on knowledge transfer, policies and procedures
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to recognise opportunities to add value to a customer’s relationship with the company
The person:

  • 3rd level qualification in business/accounting/IT desirable
  • Previous experience working with one of the following packages or related/similar softwares: Sage 50, Sage CRM or Sage Micropay an advantage
  • Previous experience in troubleshooting / working on a help desk a distinct advanage
  • The ability to logically troubleshoot and solve support related problems
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
