Our client, a Co. Waterford based company currently have a vacancy for an Application Support Agent . This is a training role and the candidate will have the opportunity to be trained and progress on to an Application Support Analyst. Full training will be provided for the right candidate.This is a fantastic opportunity to join a hardworking environment with excellent opportunities for growth in your career. The role: Provide high quality software support to customers via telephone, email and on-site. Provide problem analysis and resolve customers issues and queries. Ensure all correspondence is logged in the appropriate databases. Working alongside other team members on knowledge transfer, policies and procedures. Strong customer service skills and ability to recognise opportunities to add value to a customer’s relationship with the company. The person: 3 rd level qualification in business/accounting/IT desirable. 1-2 years experience working in an administrative role. Previous experience in troubleshooting / working on a help desk a distinct advanage. Previous experience in a customer service role. Strong IT skills. Previous experience working with one of the following packages or related/similar softwares: Sage 50, Sage CRM or Sage Micropay would be an advantage but not necessary as full training is provided. Strong communication and organisational skills. Strong interpersonal skills.
