Hartley People are looking to recruit a Supply Chain Planner for an exciting opportunity with a Cork based company. The Role: Responsible for developing the production plan for the site in SAP APO & MERP. Responsible for alignment of production plans across APO, MERP and the planning detailed sheets. Responsible for maintaining planning data in M-ERP. Ensure master production plans are generated in time to meet budget / financial timelines. Responsible for ensuring the stock profile of all APIs are kept in adherence with defined policies and communicate any re-plans with the value stream planner to ensure minimal impact on supply. Fully adhere to the scripted monthly Core Commercial Cycle calendar. Liaise with procurement to place orders on key starting materials taking into account inventory targets and supplier lead-times. Run the monthly ARM meetings with customers and actively engage with the customers to ensure the demand profile is accurate and aligned to the site expected demand profile. Alignment of demand profile between APO and planning detailed sheets. Escalate and manage all demand changes coming through via monthly ARM meetings and generate revised manufacturing plans where necessary. Liaise with the value stream planners to monitor actual production performance and review the impact of any current / future changes to the production plan. Responsible for setting the site ARP targets (0-24mths. Responsible for generating key monthly financial data such as financial calendarization and completing key monthly activities such as Demand and Availability Data (DAR), Inputting key monthly supply metric data into Cognos. Prepare and present supply chain profiles and revised manufacturing scenarios (including key financial impact) at site Pre-SRM and SRM meetings. Support Customer Service and Product Supply Manager with all requests from the Global Primary Planning team. Liaise with Engineering and Projects team to ensure all key major project activities are built into site production plans. The Person: At least 2 years’ experience in a primary pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. Chemistry or Chemical Engineering or Business degree. Minimum of 3 years relevant manufacturing experience. Knowledge of working in MERP. An ability to challenge and influence technical discussions and decisions.
