Our client, a cutting edge pharmaceutical company based in Waterford have a requirement for a suitably experienced and qualified Supply Chain Specialist. The successful applicant will join a high performing team within this rapidly expanding operation. Having recently commissioned a new extension at their facility, our client is now looking to expand their supply chain team to assist in the expected growth. Responsibilities: Ensures timely conversion of forecast to actual orders. Processes Sales Orders on SAP. Monitors delivery of orders to customers, to ensure timely delivery. Processes MRP for raw materials, components and finished product and converts purchase requisitions to purchase orders, agrees delivery dates with suppliers and tracks delivery. Negotiates with suppliers to ensure best possible price is agreed for all materials. Liaises with subcontract vendors to ensure timely delivery of products. Performs all logistics and delivery requirements related to shipment of raw materials and finished products, where necessary. Requirements: Third level qualification. 3 years' relevant experience within a Supply Chain Function. 3 years' experience working in a regulated environment.
