SALES CONSULTANT (RETAIL SALES. Our client, a market leader retailer in high end Interiors are looking to recruit for a Sales Consultant to join their experienced team in their beautiful retail centre based in Waterford City. Reporting to theManaging Director the purpose of this role is to provide customers with an exceptional level of customer service while achieving weekly and monthly sales targets. The Responsibilities of the role include :- Delivering exceptional customer service in an environment where first impressions are important and where impeccable presentation standards are essential. Achieving sales targets on a weekly/monthly basis. Assisting the customers in their choice of Interior solutions to match their requirements in a “no-pressure” environment. Identifying potential sales leads and following through on these. To represent the company’s established brand in a professional manner. To assist in ad hoc marketing duties when required. The ideal candidate will have:- A strong track record in sales (3+ years) and achieving sales targets in a retail environment including Interior Design, furnishings or clothing. A natural flair for “Style” is a must for this role. A strong ability to listen to customers needs and deliver a service akin to the business reputation. Highly motivated and a need to continuously learn about new products. An aptitude for reading and interpreting house plans and the ability to scale draw furniture layout plans is an advantage.
