Our client, a specialist retail store in Waterford currently have a vacancy for an experienced Sales Assistant. This role involves the selling of a specialised product so the successful candidate must be willing to learn and develop their knowledge in the area. The Role. Advising and serving customers – having a strong product knowledge – training will be provided. Providing exceptional customer service. Processing payments and cash handling. Ensuring stock levels are maintained. Maintaining the store room. Helping with the upkeep and day to day running of the store. Any adhoc duties as they arise. The Person. Previous experience in a retail environment essential. Excellent customer service skills. Excellent communication skills. Good natural sales ability. Work well as part of a team and on own initiative.
