We are currently seeking an experienced Head Chef for our Gold Coast Holiday, Golf & Sports Resort, Dungarvan, Co. Waterford. The ideal candidate for this role must be strong on financials and on ordering. You will also need to be an excellent kitchen manager with a flair for using fresh ingredients. The Role: · You will be managing and motivating the entire kitchen team. · You will be expected to come up with innovative menu ideas using fresh ingredients. · You will be expected to manage food and wage GP’s ensuring maximum profitability. · You will be responding for ordering all stock for the kitchen. · You will oversee all financial and operational aspects of the kitchen. · The food operation closes for a number of days for Christmas and will re-open prior to New Year’s Eve. The Ideal Candidate: · Will have previous Head Chef experience in a similar environment. · Will be very strong on financials. · Will possess good people management skills. · Will have a passion for food showing imagination with food concepts and menus. · ·You will have a strong work ethic and have the ability to deliver food of a very high standard consistently.
