The Role Give guidance to cross-functional teams rolling out the Lean Manufacturing initiatives. Strive to develop best practice methods, workplace layout and workplace organization to gain throughput increases, inventory reductions, and operating expense reductions. Assist in training employees in Lean Tools, Systems and Principles. Deliver and teach A3 Problem Solving Training. The ability to lead a project from conception to closure. Estimate & secure the cost benefit of specific projects. Auditing processes to ensure that gains are sustained. Assist in the development of corrective action when requested. To act as a Lean Manufacturing SME to support other departments. Communicate and work with people inside and outside the Department. Train and lead assigned employees. Ability to understand and follow appropriate departmental policies, procedures, practices and to understand the inter-relationships of people and functions. The Person. 5 years experience in Pharmaceutical or related industry experience. MSc in Lean/Six Sigma or equivalent. Certified in Training within industry. Up to date knowledge and understanding of the latest developments in Lean Manufacturing Theory and Practices. Knowledge of engineering theories, methods and work measurement techniques. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to present information in a concise and clear manner. Certified to use A3 Problem Solving Methodology.
