Facilities Team Leader. Waterford. You will develop, lead and manage the Facilities Team an ensure site Utilities and Facilities are maintained to a high standard. Responsibilities: 1.Health & Safety. •Comply at all times with the Health, Safety and Environmental policy and associated procedures. • Continuously promote a positive safety culture by challenging yourself and others to prioritize safety in everything you do. 2.Quality Compliance. • Ensure all work carried out, is in compliance with the required standards, conforming to company, cGMP, SOP’s and regulatory guidelines. • Take ownership for quality compliance in all activities you are responsible for. 3.Engineering. •Accountable for Facilities and Utilities reliability in both the commercial and R&D Facilities. •Manage energy budgets and develop focused improvements to reduce energy usage. •Support and deploy best in class maintenance methodologies. •Ensure central Engineering systems are available for all users. (Computerized Maintenance Management system. •Ensure spare parts stocks are maintained current and in compliance with SOX. •Develop the Facilities budget annually and manage to budget, always looking for opportunities to develop efficiencies. •Support and deploy Continuous improvement processes and Problem solving processes which are data centric. •Responsible for the upkeep of engineering documentation, including drawings. •Responsible for the Engineering change Management process. 4.Team Development. •Recruit high calibre staff as needed. •Lead the Facilities Team through alignment to the company values. •Develop high trust and high performance culture in the Team. •Draft individual development plans for all Team Members. •Ensure that relationships are built and that the Team is aligned with Engineering and other functions to deliver business value. Minimum Qualifications & Experience. 1 . Minimum Senior Trades (Electrical, Mechanical or Instrumentation) and/or Diploma in Engineering. 2.Minimum 5 year’s engineering experience within a relevant environment. 3.Previous management and supervisory experience an advantage. Other Behavioural Competencies/ Skills. •Strong leadership skills. •Ability to prioritize and manage multiple complex tasks. •Knowledge and understanding of Maintenance, Facilities, Instrumentation, Validation and Project Management. •Can interact with audits (internal and external) from a quality and safety perspective. •Strong report writing skills. •cGMP compliance.
