Ops Manager – Merchant Services. Working with an expanding global company who are looking to recruit an Operations Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for the electronic payments processes for their international clients, acting as the point of contact between the different departments. This role also includes the research, implementation and day-to-day management of electronic payments programs, with a focus on credit card, direct debit, mobile and digital wallet processes. He/she also will back up the US Payments Manager as needed. Duties include: •Manage day-to-day relationship with multiple payments processors. •Filling the role of primary contact with payment processors on all issues and projects. •Setting up Merchant Accounts with processors. •Financial planning, researching, implementing, overseeing and tracking these payment programs. •Defining and creating financial and performance related KPI’s, ensuring tools and reporting is available to monitor them. •Working with processor technical teams to rectify production errors. •Supervise/Review credit card descriptions for accuracy. •Handle chargeback and fraud cases as required. •Evaluate current technologies and platforms for their international clients for optimum performance. •Ensure compliance with payment process regulations. •Research new and emerging technologies, as well as vetting new business opportunities. •Work closely with other Teams/Clients on projects. •Back-up support for the US Payments Manager as needed. Skills/Experience required: •3rd Level Qualification in Business, Finance, Marketing or Commerce – preferred. •5 years’ work related experience with at least 3 years at management level. •Previous Electronic Payments Processing experience - desired. •Knowledge of SQL is a plus. •International travel on an ad hoc basis.
