A permanent opportunity with a leading Medical Device company has arisen for a Supplier Quality Engineer to join their site in Waterford. This role would suit an experienced Supplier Quality Engineer who has come from a high volume, automated environment. As Supplier Quality Engineer, you will join the supplier quality group and will be responsible for quality compliance, CI and overseeing of the Supplier Quality System. The role: * Support the Quality Manager to monitor and report on supplier product quality and performance. * Maintain the Company Quality Systems. * Investigate all quality issues, both supplier and customer based. * Lead investigations into root cause analysis. * Liaise with relevant internal and external auditors and Regulatory Bodies. * CAPA analysis and implementation. Qualifications / Skills. * Degree qualified in Engineering or a related subject. * 5 year's experience working in a similar highly-regulated environment i.e. high volume medical device or pharma / aerospace / automotive. * Proven ability to project manage a number of different projects at any one time. * Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. * Ability to apply a scientific approach to problem solving, blending analytical and experimental skills to maximise productivity and yields is an essential requirement.
