Our client a Co. Waterford based Bar & Restaurant currently have a vacancy for a  General Manager.  The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a similar environment and strong people management skills. This is a seasonal role so hours will vary in off season. This is an excellent opportunity for growth and personal development for the right candidate.   The role: Oversee all Management duties and the day to day running of the Bar and restaurant, ensuring excellent Front of House Service. Recruitment, selection and on boarding of all staff and their training and development. Maximising sales and ensure team upsell to enhance sales. Planning work schedules for both individuals and teams. Analyse past sales reports and prepare sales projections. Stock control including stock taking system and stock reporting. Oversee and manage all day to day activities. Help with the creation of menu options. Deliver the best service while creating a relaxed and inviting atmosphere.   The candidate: 3- 5 years’ experience in a similar role. Previous experience in a management role. Be highly motivated and driven. Be a confident and outgoing personality with excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. You will have experience in managing and motivating a team and consistently delivering high standards. Be committed to maintaining a high level of quality and service within all aspects of the business. Be flexible and adaptable as hours vary depending on the time of year.
