The Supply Planner is responsible for ensuring product is scheduled on time & in correct quantities to maintain stock levels in the various DC's for all onsite manufactured Products. Principal Responsibilities: *Schedule both finished lenses and mould inventory as required. *Liaise with Customer services and DC's regarding customer queries & expected ship dates. *Monitor inventory levels in the various DC.s. *Prioritise product as required based on information received from Customers. *Manage QCR process for any new product set-ups for Finished Goods. *Support product Life Cycle management programs to include new product launches, product rationalisation plans and fit set build programs. *Attend Product Group meetings and liaise with Manufacturing Operations staff as required. *Liaise with Operations on backorder and low limit skus. *Maintain and update processes and procedures for planning activities. *Execute other operational disciplines of the Planning Department as and when required. Focus on the continuous enhancement and credibility of the department, within the Organisation, through a professional and mature approach at all times. Requirments: *Minimum of 5 years manufacturing planning and scheduling experience. *Educated to Degree level - Business / Supply Chain - or equivalent combination of Education / Experience. *IIPMM / AIPICs qualified. *Strong numerical and analytical skills. *Strong communication skills. *Ability to use Excel at an advanced level and understanding of ERP LX / JDA or similar ERP systems. *Focused on. Customer Service and delivering Key Operational Measurements. *Ability to act as a Team player, or independently, and with multiple activities. *Excellent Attention to detail. *The capacity to work on own initiative. Results focused and demonstrates financial and analytical acumen. *Proficient in problem solving and resolution.
