A global leader in design and manufacture of valves and flow system components is recruiting for an experienced Quality Engineer to join their manufacturing facility in Waterford. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a broad range of tasks and activities and drive improvements in multiple manufacturing processes through Continuous Improvement, New Product Introduction and Lean methods. The Job. Sustaining and developing the existing Quality Management System including the procedures, QWIs and protocols. Ensuring effective and repetitive outputs are achieved in manufacturing by conducting risk assessments in work flows and procedures. Take ownership of development of the ISO9001:2015 quality system. Lead Problem Solving, Failure & Root Cause Analysis, Risk Assessment & FMEAs activities. Provide training in Quality Processes, Procedures, Practices & Techniques to the extended production and technical team to enhance knowledge and quality focus in the company. Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, or related Science discipline. 3-4 years relevant experience in an applicable manufacturing environment. Experience working in a quality engineering role with a customer-facing element would be an advantage.
