Our client a leader in their field are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join their team.   The role involves: Improvement of overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) within his area. Leads investigations into Quality issues related to equipment in his area (QI’s  Improving equipment reliability within his value streams by identifying root causes of major and/or recurring plant failures and engages in design out maintenance work to prevent their reoccurrence. Developing driving, supporting the Planned Maintenance programmes and ensure that all plant items are within regulatory compliance and ‘audit ready’ at all times. Liaising between the Project Team and Eng Ops Team ensure an informed design and handover takes place on all new plant. Introducing new and innovative technology to the site. Deputises for the Eng Ops Group Leader when required in Eng Ops. Actively supports the planning, organisation and implementation of major maintenance tasks including shutdown periods   Performing spare parts assessments for new/existing areas of the plant. Attending weekly production meeting. Behaving in accordance with our cultural framework. Liaising between the Project Team and Eng Ops Team to ensure an informed handover takes place on all new plant using FMECA and other site tools to assess spare and PM requirements. Optimising all PM programmes to ensure maximum return from time invested in these activities. Acting as lead Auditee for eng Ops in all dealings with external regulators e.g. FDA, EPA, HSA etc. Identifying root causes of major and/or recurring plant failures and engage in design out maintenance work to prevent their reoccurrence. The ideal candidate: Will have 3 – 5 years experience. Will be educated to degree standard in a relevant discipline. Will have detailed knowledge of the cGMP requirements relevant to the role and understand the GSK Global Quality Policies and Global Quality Guidelines that relate to the role  Will have proven experience in Leading Edge Principles and Behaviours  Will have Working knowledge of the Cork Risk Management System, CAPA’s project planning and management, managing groups, running QIPs.
