Programme Manager (pharma) - County Waterford. Job Purpose: The purpose of the Programme Manager is to lead groups of inter-related projects as an integral part of the Project Management Office (PMO) under the direction of the Head of Scientific Affairs. Core Responsibilities: • Devise and co-ordinate the planning and implementation of projects within the structure of PMO. • Work within the PMO team to implement a consistent approach to Project Management. • Plan, schedule and track project deliverables using appropriate tools, methods and techniques, ensuring all parties understand their own deliverables. • Up to date monitoring, problem solving and reporting on project progress to all stakeholders. • Manage project resource allocation in consultation with concerned department leads. • Co-ordinate, facilitate and report on project meetings. • Foster a culture of Project Team ownership for delivery of projects from product selection through to commercial product launch. • Ensure that all work is carried out in compliance with the required standards to conform to company, cGxP, health and safety, environmental and regulatory requirements. Qualifications & Experience sought: • Minimum five years' experience within a related industry, preferably in a project management role. • Knowledge and application of project management tools, methods and techniques. • Project Management qualifications advantageous. • Third level technical qualification desirable, ideally to a minimum of degree standard. • Proven track record of leading cross-functional project teams.
