Our client, an expanding, thriving coffee shop & restaurant are recruiting an Operations Manager to oversee their business in the greater Waterford city area. This is a fantastic opportunity for career advancement and personal development.   The Role:   Ensuring smooth and efficient day-to-day operations of the business. Management of floor staff and additional employees. Management of staff rota’s. Liaising with staff on the ground – main point of contact between front of house staff and management. Organising and efficiently utilising staff. Front of House stock control, stock rotation and stock ordering. Cashing off tills, monitoring any till discrepancies and ensuring sufficient change on-site. Management of customer/group bookings and additional contacts. Ensuring high levels of customer service. Liaise with head chef and work in tandem with the kitchen. Ensure all HACCAP charts are completed daily.   The Person:   A qualification in Hospitality Management would be beneficial. Minimum two/three years experience in a similar role – must be able for a high pressurised environment. Must have a strong work ethic and drive to ensure the business keeps growing. Genuine interest in food, coffee and wine. Strong leadership, motivational and people skills. Maintain high standards and attention to detail.
