Hartley People currently have a great opportunity for a Financial Reporting Accountant to join a Multinational Company based in Waterford City on a 12 month contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant looking to make a move from practice into industry.   The Role. Timely and accurate Group reporting. Maintain adequate controls and processes. Project work and Ad Hoc queries. Site facilitator for external substantive auditors during periodic visits annually. Preparation of company statutory accounts. Statistics Office returns. Company secretarial management for respective MCO entities. Responsible for calculating, posting & reporting Corporation & Deferred tax for Group & external statutory purposes.   Essential Requirements. Qualified CIMA / ACA or Irish equivalent. Post qualified experience 5+ years. Proven accounting experience. Excellent systems skills/experience (including SAP. Good understanding of IFRS. Team player. Attention to detail. Good analytical skills. Able to Identify and solve problems. Good organisational abilities and time management. Ability to meet deadlines. Proactive and able to work on own initiative.
