Would you like to join a leading Engineering Consultancy based in Waterford?  This is a great opportunity for an experienced  Civil or Structural CAD Technician  to join a leading Engineering Consultancy. You will be involved in a variety of exciting and challenging projects with a range of clients from multinationals to smaller companies.  The Role  This is a full time drafting role and you will work as part of a team under the supervision of the Lead Technician to assist in the preparation of high quality engineering design drawings. You will: • Work with the Engineers to determine drawings and details to be prepared. • Co-ordinate drawings with the design team. • Ensure that drawings are prepared and that they are suitable for the purpose. • Verify final output and check drawings. • Ensure that drawings are prepared in line with Company standards. The Person. Qualified in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or other relevant qualification. A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Civil or Structural CAD Technician in a design office assisting with detailed drawings for civil and structural engineering projects.
