A global giant who is specialist in the manufacture of Class II medical device instruments worldwide currently have operations and sales in over 43 countries. Having recently undergone a large capital investment to establish a brand new manufacturing facilitiy based in Leinster, this organisation are now seeking to appoint a Lead Engineer to join their operation. As Lead Engineer, you will manage all maintenance processes on site and lead a team of 4 technicians. The Role. As a Lead Engineer, you will also need to: Establish training plans for technicians for every shift and set forth future prospects. Implement and action plans to enhance targets where required. Design and execute preventative maintenance programmes. Liaise with cross functional teams to manage equipment. The Person. You will be third level degree qualified and also have at least 5 years' exposure to: High volume manufacturing capacity ultimately in medical device. 3 years' leadership experience within a technical position. Implementing preventative and/or reactive maintenance. Interaction with high speed high volume automated manufacturing. Product knowledge within medical device or pharmaceutical industry. Benefits: Salary €57,820. Shift premium 33% VHI healthcare. Pension 8% Performance bonus. 210 hrs hols. Free GP visits.
