As the Warehouse Manager, you will be tasked with overseeing the warehouse and distribution operations at the JBS Group site in Little Island, Cork. You’ll lead the warehouse team and manage all functions within it, driving continuous improvement for logistical processes and taking responsibility for the receipt, storage, control and shipment of products. Ensuring standards are met for output, control, quality and resources, you will make sure the proper equipment is present on-site, SOPs are generated and the warehouse operates within them. Additionally, you will: - Act as a Super-User for the warehouse ERP system. - Take ownership of the stock count process. - Ensure effective personnel organisation through selection, teaching, leadership and development of staff. - Oversee and develop budgets. - Establish an environment of teamwork, communication and accountability across your area of the business. Interested? To be considered, you will need: - At least five years’ experience of managing an FMCG warehouse. - Knowledge of warehousing and distribution processes and systems. - The proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives. - Strong knowledge of warehousing KPIs. - Excellent IT skills, in particular MS Excel. - A FETAC Level 5 or equivalent qualification in Warehouse Management. Attentive to detail and with excellent English communication skills, the ideal Warehouse Manager will be a consummate leader with strong relationship building skills and the ability to influence and motivate others.
