Noel Recruitment Group are sourcing candidates for the position of Sales and Marketing Manager required for a luxurious four-star boutique hotel located in Waterford. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills with a professional approach and ability to work in a fast paced environment. Have a 'can do' attitude and be resilient when conducting telesales and sales calls. An interest in the market and new opportunities for the property with a proven track record in a similar role in the industry. Duties and responsibilities include: To source new business opportunities to maximise revenues through research & sales techniques. Daily monitoring of business in house, enquiries and events. Generate new corporate, meeting and leisure business Hotel through new account development and penetration of existing accounts. Competitor analysis and subsequent targeting of business. To liaise with all departments about client and guest feedback on the products and services. Implement a lead generation system with front desk and other staff and follow through. Represent the hotel during trade shows, exhibitions and corporate events. Develop collateral both on and offline for all the market segments. Attend PR planning meetings and complete allocated tasks within agreed time frame. Participation and implementation of the Social Media Plan of the property in partnership with Group Marketing Exec. To create and distribute mail outs and email shots to communicate promotions and offers to our current database. Review monthly Sales & Marketing plan and send on results to the GM. To assist all other departments in being sales focused. To ensure that all control procedures pertaining to the processing of revenue are adhered to at all times, and any discrepancies are reported to the General Manager immediately. INDPH.
