QC Analyst Job. Locations: Waterford. Full-time/ Permanent. Our client, a leading testing laboratory in the pharmaceutical industry is currently recruiting a number of QC Analyst roles based in Waterford. The primary purpose of this of this job is to perform analysis of pharmaceutical raw materials, drug substance, and finished product and produce accurate results within an acceptable timeframe. Responsibilities: * Provide analytical testing across a range of traditional analytical techniques as well as modern instrumental equipment (HPLC, ICP-MS, IR, PXRD, NMR, GC and LCMS. * Provide analytical support in troubleshooting. * Demonstrate problem solving in delivering process and analytical understanding. * Good understanding of requirements for working in a GMP environment. * To review analytical data for GMP compliance. Requirements: * Knowledge/Experience of Analytical Chemistry is essential. * 2-3 years' experience of pharmaceutical analysis within a GMP environment. * Experience with traditional analytical techniques as well as modern instrumental equipment like HPLC, ICP-MS, IR, PXRD, NMR, GC and LCMS. * Must possess good knowledge of analysis methods and tools. * Good understanding of basic chromatographic techniques. * Experience working on method development and validations. * Compendia verification experience.
