Microbiologist Job, Waterford - Salary NEG DOE. An opportunity has now become available for a Senior Microbiologist to work in a brand new state of the art, purpose built R&D facility in Waterford .The company specialises in the development, registration and manufacture of high potency solid dose products for global markets. As the Senior Microbiologist you will be responsible for supporting the microbiology activities of fill finish and oral dose facilities. What will you be doing? Validation and execution of methods such as LAL, Endotoxin and Bioburden will be among your responsibilities. You will also carry out investigations and address deviations. You will support the activities and mentor junior graduates within the microbiology department. As the Senior Microbiologist you will manage external testing as well as write, implement, and update SOP's. What you'll need to succeed in the Senior Microbiologist job : Degree in a Microbiology or related degree such as Biologic's and have a number of years of experience working in a GMP pharmaceutical microbiology laboratory. Proven industry experience carrying out validation and optimisation of microbiology techniques is essential. A working knowledge and practical experience with microbial limit test, endotoxin, bioburden and LAL is essential.
