Job Profile: As a member of the Fund Accounting Team, you will be responsible for the timely and accurate preparation of the valuations for a portfolio of funds dealing directly with our clients. Prior fund accounting experience is not required. Extensive on the job training will be provided. Your duties will include, but are not limited to, the following: Maintaining the books and records of the funds, including preparation of journals, bank reconciliations and processing of expenses. Liaising with clients on a day to day basis and acting as a primary contact for clients. Preparation of financial statements for the funds & liaising with fund auditors. Completion of client reporting. Assisting with ad-hoc projects as and when required. Qualifications & Experience. A qualified accounting technician ideally with experience working in practice or the funds industry. A self-directed, client focused individual with excellent communication skills. A person with a strong working knowledge of general ledger accounting. Flexible with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
