Due to continued expansion Winthrop Engineering Limited are looking to appoint an experienced Mechanical Project Manager. This position is based in the south/southeast area and will report directly to the Construction Director. The ideal candidate will hold a degree qualification in a relevant technical/engineering discipline with 5 years’ experience in the building services industry or a similar role. Key Responsibilities. Hold full responsibility for the management of the project from inception to completion. Manage Project schedules, budgets, and scope within the set Project limits. Interface and maintain a positive relationship with consultants, client staff and other project team members. Provide clear direction and information for the completion of reports, requests, updates, and other deliverables to support the successful delivery of the Project. Accountable for adherence on projects of all policies, process, procedures, tools and client requirements. Provide Leadership to the project team. Performance management analysing project training needs in conjunction with the HR manager. Desired Skills and Experience. Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar position with a relevant 3rd level degree qualification. Must demonstrate a high level of performance in project budgeting, contract negotiations and scheduling. Excellent communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills. Business awareness and commercial focus. Leadership and strong management skills. Technically competent. Be proficient with the use of the Microsoft Office suite, Microsoft Project.
