This is a great opportunity for an experienced  Automation Engineer  to join a leading manufacturer based here in Waterford City.  The Role  Developing technical solutions for automated equipment. Maintaining PLC automation systems. Providing technical and automation core competency support. Providing technical and automation training. Ensuring automation systems are maintained. Adhering to a Life cycle management process for automation systems. Supporting process investigations and troubleshooting as required. Providing automation requirements and implementing solutions for new products and/or capacity expansions. The Person. Engineering degree in Electrical, Electronics, Electro-mechanical or equivalent training / experience. Minimum of 3 years’ engineering experience. Experience with Siemens S7 PLCs and WinCC flexible desirable. Ability to read and interpret PLC code. Strong understanding of SCADA systems. Understanding of Computer Systems Validation.
