Our client are looking to recruit a Car Mechanic for a 2-3 month role based in Waterford. The role: Greet customers when they arrive and take detailed history of vehicle performance or mechanical failure. Diagnose vehicles based on observational and mechanical testing as well as information provided by the customer. Provide customers with detailed estimates for repairs. Repair vehicles based on the diagnosed issue and repair estimate. Test drive vehicles after repairs are complete to ensure mechanical soundness and determine whether other problems exist. File appropriate documentation on each repair. The Person: Qualified mechanic. 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role.
