Fantastic opportunity for a permanent QC Analyst in chemistry to work in a newly built state-of-the-art facility within a Pharmaceutical company in Waterford . The primary purpose of the QC Analyst is to perform analysis of pharmaceutical raw materials, drug substance, and finished product and produce accurate results within an acceptable timeframe. You will havea Degree in Chemistry or related Science with a minimum 1 years GMP experience and exposure an analytical chemistry testing techniques. What ' s in it for you? Key Responsibilities: Perform QC samples in accordance with company procedures. Perform routine and non-routine analysis, as requested by the laboratory. Prepare and approve results for tests in which they are deemed competent. Knowledgeable of customers requirements and should strive to meet those requirements. Deal with customer queries and telephone significant results to customers. Train other more junior members of staff in analytical techniques as required. Revise SOPs as required by the laboratory. Responsible for updating any relevant documentation when requested. To identify any opportunities for improvement of quality and service and work with the team to implement continuous improvement. Deputise for supervisors / managers, as required. Desired Skills and Experience: Degree in Chemistry or related Science. Minimum 1-2 years GMP Industry experience (Pharma/Medical Device Industries. Organised with strong documentation skills and attention to detail. Fun, friendly, personable and positive! Good team player, honest and conscientious with good communication skills.
