IT Operations Manager is required by CareerWise Recruitment for our Waterford based client. CareerWise Recruitment is working in partnership with a leading IT company in their sector, to recruit an IT Operations Manager to join their Irish based team. You will be managing a talented IT team across engineers, PMs and helpdesk. THE ROLE: * Manage the service delivery, including system upgrades, of company product deployments and other related SLAs. * Experience of Data Protection, GDPR, PCI and other data related compliance standards as well as internal/external audit of processes and quality. * Proactively involved with client engagements to assist planning, allocation of resources, customer on-boarding and follow up on client input, resolution of issues. * Improve and maintain cost-effective operations by controlling expenses and improving efficiencies. * Manage costs, quality, SLA's, Compliance etc of Vendors and suppliers including Software providers, Call Centres, Service Providers etc. * Drive a culture of collaboration within the Operations teams and with the larger company. * Endorse Company standards within local culture and existing work ethics. Support local issues, align site work ethics and social conduct towards the global company standards. * Provide long-term vision, strategy, and standards for the operations team: developing strong employee engagement, and align direction and standards with company objectives. * Working collaboratively with sales, legal, finance etc depts as needed, supporting client contracts negotiations, visits, escalation paths, etc. * Responsible for assuring scalability of overall production according to work volume needs and revenue plan/pipeline. REQUIREMENTS: * Experience in software/high tech/service industry operations. * Experience managing staff. * Demonstrated performance record in employee and customer satisfaction. * Very good communication skills. * Good Experience in a business management role. * Personal profile that emphasizes inclusion, accessibility and team play. * Demonstrated leadership capability, including the ability to motivate and mentor others.
