The Hartley People are currently seeking an Accounts Technician. The role is an excellent opportunity to join a leading business in Waterford City. The Person: 3-5 years accounts payable and receivable experience. A 3 rd level qualification. Excellent IT skills with strong working knowledge of SAGE and Excel. Ideally have some purchasing experience The Role: Reviewing product requirements for Training Project with Operations team and devising list of all requirements for full duration of course. Costing of full product needs for training projects whilst complying with procurement rules. Reviewing all quotations (work out calculations and obtain quotations) and identify and inform successful supplier. Creating costing amendments where changes are required and submitting all documentary back up to the Education and Training Board. Receiving contracts, cross reference against costing and once approved returning signed contact to the relevant ETB. Add new training projects to the course database on receipt of contract. Order all relevant materials for the courses (course specific materials and stationery. Supplier payments Receiving tutor invoices and arranging for sign-off by Training Manager. Input tutor and supplier invoices on Sage. Input payments on Sage (VISA and bank transfers. Organise backup for recharge (invoice, quote, receipt and pass to Financial Controller. Assist with supplier account reconciliations. Liaising with solicitors and real estate agents regarding rental of premises for courses to ensure signed contracts are received, where necessary.
