Your new position: As Operations Team Leader you will be responsible for coordinating the sterile operations team and activities, to ensure project plans, schedules and department goals are delivered on time in full. You will have a mix of both Process Operators and Maintenance Techs reporting directly to you. Key Responsibilities: Project Planning / Co-ordination: Actively plan for each project and manufacturing activity to ensure visibility to all team members and key stakeholders to deliver on time in full. Determine detailed tasks and resources required to deliver each project milestone; identify equipment, materials and people needed and allocate resources to tasks on a monthly/weekly basis and daily adjustments as required. Leadership. Coaching / Mentoring - support members of team with problem solving and skill development to aid learning and early problem resolution. Recruitment assist with recruitment of team members in line with resource requirements. Compliance: Ensure that all work carried out complies with the required standards conforming to company, cGxP, SOPs, regulatory regulations and guidelines, safety and environmental guidelines. Ensure high quality output Vigilantly watch over job processes, tasks and work products to ensure freedom from errors, omissions or defects. Initiate action to correct quality/schedule problem or notify others of quality issues as appropriate. Continuous Improvement: Identify and make recommendations for improvements as part of a team within or outside the department in order to ensure continuous improvement. Highlight opportunities for system optimisation to team members. Documentation. Ensure all batch documentation is generated and completed correctly. Coordinate the preparation of batch documentation in support of engineering activities, process simulations and product manufacture. Ensure Manufacturing logbooks are completed correctly. Key Requirements: Relevant degree qualification. Minimum 5 years experience working in a Sterile fill finish environment. Proven people management and presentation skills. Demonstrated project and/or program management skills required. Detailed understanding manufacturing processes for oral solid dosage forms. Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills required. Ability to work under pressure and work in cross functional groups and liaise. Strong analytical ability.
