As Business Development Manager for the Munster Region, reporting to the Head of Sales, your role would consist of maximising sales while providing professional, commercial business partnering, sales management and customer training in order to achieve specific sales targets and objectives. Achieve budgeted sales & margin targets for the territory, in line with company business plan. Understand the needs of the key decision makers within each Retailer. Ensure a high level of product knowledge (own and competition. Develop positive, professional relationships with decision makers and in store staff. Working closely with retailers & marketing teams to ensure all our brands ‘sell through’ to the customer. Identify ways to improve the Company’s share of business within our respective channels whilst respecting the brand’s values & market position, identifying new customers where possible. Territory Management: Operate an effective and efficient call management system with annual, monthly and quarterly business plans agreed and in place with key retailers. Provide timely and accurate weekly & monthly territory reports including sales, market, competitors, customers and forecasting information. What you will need to have. Previous Business Development experience – Minimum 3 years, with proven and demonstrable track record of achievement in sales growth and client development. Full driving licence required, and willingness to cover Munster region. The ability to quickly learn and understand the full range of Stanley products and their features. The ability to understand client’s business – their ethos, aims and aspirations. The ability to influence key stakeholders. Interested?
