Our client a well known consultancy company are lookign for a Mechanical Engineer with the potential to develop and progress with the Company. This is an ideal role for a high calibre Mechanical Engineer with strong project experience in the delivery of food and beverage or pharmaceutical projects. The role will be primarily office based with experience in design of HVAC, Water Services, Heating and Chilled Water Systems, Gas Systems and BMS required. You will work as part of a Building Services Department in a multidisciplinary engineering company under the supervision of a Senior Engineer and will be responsible for providing engineering designs to ensure the optimum delivery of our Clients’ projects. You will be involved in all stages of the project lifecycle, from inception and design through to testing, commissioning and handover. Key Qualifications & Skills: This role requires an outgoing and confident professional who combines effective interpersonal skills with technical excellence and strong IT capability. The ideal candidate will: • En route to becoming a Chartered Engineer. • Demonstrate a history of competence in the design of Mechanical Systems within a consultancy environment. • 2 years’ + experience. • Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team and have an understanding of the implications of their design on other members of the design team. • Excellent interpersonal skills and a consistent track record of initiative and achievement. • A track record as a target driven self-starter and achiever with the ability to get the job right first time.
