Our client based in Waterford currently has a job available for an experienced Accounts Administrator to join their team. Reporting directly to the Managing Director you will be responsible for the accounting function within this engineering company. Key Responsibilities: Preparation of Quarterly Management Accounts for UK & Ireland. Monitor and update the Cash Management System and the Contracts Control System daily for all ongoing projects. Issue monthly Debtors Statement of accounts. Payroll and Generate Payroll reports. Recording and verifying creditors invoices. Ensuring that transactions comply with financial policies and procedures. Entering invoices for payment and record all cheques and payments made. Managing the weekly/ monthly payments run. Maintaining, recording and reconciling bank accounts. Reviewing and reconciling staff monthly expense claims. Submissions to HMRC and Irish Revenue for Payroll, Contractors, Company dues (VAT, PAYE, NI, Corp Tax. Requirements: Min 5 years experience working in an accounts environment. Accounting Technician Qualified or equivalent and / or IPASS Qualified. Experience with accounting & payroll packages/software ideally Sage50. Solid working knowledge of standard software packages (Excel / Word. Meticulous attention to detail and excellent interpersonal skills. Excellent organisational and planning capabilities and ability to work to deadlines and deliver under pressure.
