Hartley People are currently recruiting a Management Accountant for a hugely successful FMCG client based here in Waterford City.  Reporting to the CEO, the Management Accountant will be a key member of the management team.  You will build relationships with all key functions within the plant and support strategic decision making. The Person: Qualified Accountant – CIMA with a minimum of 5 years PQE. Strong IT and systems skills. Excellent organisational and multi-tasking capabilities. Strong commercial acumen. Highly effective written, verbal and presentation communication skills. The Role: KPI reporting, monitoring performance throughout both plants, with margin reporting and analysis of variance. Cost management. Control and process management and improvement. Preparation and monitoring of annual production budget and monthly forecasts, including analysis of variances to actual results. Liaise closely with Financial Controller and Plant Managers. Engage with all key personnel to drive efficiency. Optimising inventory levels. Supervision of procurement function, Assisting commercial teams with pricing. Leading ERP developments and other IT improvements for manufacturing.
