Our client an innovative “Start-up” Manufacturing Company based in Waterford, are currently looking for a Materials Planner to join their expanding team. This is an exciting opportunity with career growth potential in a rapidly growing multi-national company, dealing with cutting edge technology and a dynamic and evolving environment. What will the role involve? Initially setting up, configuring and integrating a new ERP System for the company. Working with on and off-site consultants to optimise the system, ensuring that it fulfils all business requirements. Working with existing team members and managing the implementation of their areas onto the new system.  Day to day duties will include: Working with supply chain team regarding material requirements. Materials planning and on time delivery for production. Scheduling and managing capacity. Production planning & scheduling execution. Master Scheduling Forecast & supply planning. Capacity planning. Inventory management. MRP Procurement execution and management of all day to day aspects of Vendor relationship. Material master data maintenance. Raw Material New Product Set-up / Master Data Changes. Escalation of Agreed Supply Plan issues. Maintain the production volume forecast. Working closely with NPI team as required.  The ideal candidate will be: Ideally Educated to Degree level 7 or 8 in Business or Supply Chain (or equivalent combination of Education / Experience. IIPMM / AIPICs qualified ideally. Strong numerical and analytical skills. Strong communication skills with an ability to lead a project. Ability to use Excel at an advanced level. Focused on. Customer Service and delivering Key Operational Measurements. Ability to act as a Team player, or independently, and with multiple activities. Excellent Attention to detail. The capacity to work on own initiative. Results focused and demonstrates financial an analytical acumen. Proficient in problem solving and resolution.
