Would you like to join a leading Engineering Consultancy based in Waterford?  This is a great opportunity for an experienced  Civil or Structural CAD Technician  to join a leading Engineering Consultancy. You will be involved in a variety of exciting and challenging projects with a range of clients from multinationals to smaller companies.    The Role  This is a full time drafting role and you will work as part of a team to assist in the preparation of high quality engineering design drawings. You will: Work with the Engineers to determine drawings and details to be prepared. Co-ordinate drawings with the design team. Ensure that drawings are prepared and that they are suitable for the purpose. Verify final output and check drawings. Ensure that drawings are prepared in line with Company standards. The Person. Qualified in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or equivalent. A minimum of 4 years’ experience as a Civil or Structural CAD Technician in a design office assisting with detailed drawings for civil and structural engineering projects. A good working knowledge of 2D AutoCAD, Revit and BIM desirable.
