We are currently looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to provide maintenance and troubleshooting support to maximise the availability of the manufacturing equipment for production. Please note this is a shift-based position.   Responsibilities: To carry out repair and Maintenance tasks of all Process and facilities Equipment. Help develop a workable PM schedule, and input data into Maintenance PM System. Working on own initiative to implement permanent fix solutions to equipment issues. Training of other staff members on basic equipment maintenance/troubleshooting tasks, machine set-up procedures and safety awareness. Complete all duties as per relevant SOP’s and adhere to all relevant safety / PPE requirements as per company policies and guidelines. Ensure all required documentation is completed accurately and on time. Attend management / team meetings as required and actively contribute to efforts to maximise production efficiency. Actively contribute to continuous improvements across the plant. Work closely with procurement and management in relation to the procurement of spare parts and consumables, ensuring an adequate/optimal supply at all times.   Requirements: Junior & Senior Trade’s Certificate or an equivalent third level qualification. At least 3 years’ experience working as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing environment. Electro-mechanical experience in a semi-automated or automated manufacturing environment. Knowledge of health and safety standards a distinct advantage. Experience / knowledge of process improvement techniques such as Lean would be an advantage.   Interested?
