Working exclusively with our client, a leading professional services firm, we are seeking applications from experienced Financial Advisers to lead a newly formed financial advisory company in Waterford.  This is a rare and exciting opportunity to enter a high-potential business as the lead executive, with options, and an established pathway, for equity within 12 months of commencement, while benefiting from experienced, hands-on professional support from the Board as required. You will have access to the top-class network / client list from a leading local accountancy and tax advisory firm, and hence there will be, from day one, a significant supply of business from which the Manager can grow and develop the business. What is involved? The purpose of the role is to service and develop an ever-increasing number of clients in a compliant and highly competent manner, growing the business in a planned sustainable fashion.   Specifically, this will include: Management and growth of the firm’s client list and the provision of a best in class service to all existing and new clients. Advising clients on all aspects of pensions, investments and life assurance. Ensuring that all compliance procedures are implemented, understood and adhered to. Arranging agencies with all appropriate product providers. Recruiting an Administrative Assistant. Developing a top-class website (with outside professional assistance. Procure the services of a part-time Mortgage Adviser.   It is envisaged that an additional full-time financial adviser, for the purposes of serving life & pensions clients, will be required in due course to assist the Manager in servicing the anticipated growth.    Who are we looking for? – QFA qualification or higher. – Minimum 3 years’ relevant post-qualification experience. – A strong work ethic, with purpose, energy and resilience. – Unimpeachable integrity. – The drive, ambition and ability to lead and grow a business. – Superior interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral.
