We are currently looking for an experienced PHP/JavaScript Engineer to join our Client’s development team in Waterford.  You must have vision and drive and must not be afraid to back big ideas. Designing & writing quality, scalable & robust code with security and performance in mind. Contributing in all phases of the development lifecycle. Developing technical documentation for internal use. Support existing features written in PHP. Willing to learn Node.js and help migrate features from PHP to Node.js.   Requirements. Bachelor’s degree or College Diploma in a computer science related course. Experience in developing  enterprise level applications using PHP Laravel framework. Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Digital Ocean. Extensive experience developing RESTful APIs. Must have good working knowledge of Postman. Designing and implementing relational databases such as PostgresSQL. Must be competent with SQL. Experience of working within an Agile environment using SCRUM. Knowledge of MVC and other software design patterns. Excellent Teamwork ethic with the ability to work collaboratively with others (technical and non-technical. Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to align to changing priorities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Desirable: Experience with Vue.js, Angular or React, Redis, GraphQL, NoSQL DBs, TypeScript / ECMAScript, System administration, TDD. Desirable: Experience using CI/CD (for example Jenkins or Travis), OAuth and/or SSO, UNIX/Linux & shell scripting. Desirable: Good understanding of visual & UX design principles.   Interested?
