Role Summary: A new vacancy has arisen for a MES Specialist at our client’s facility in Co. Waterford. The MES Specialist will report to the Business Systems Manager and provide detailed Application support to MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) enabled departments. The successful candidate will ensure the MES system is maintained in a compliant manner. To suggest and implement agreed MES application functionality & improvements where identified. Responsible for the provision of MES support to site users, escalation of issues above site. Scope: MES application & interfaces to partner systems. Core Duties and Responsibilities: MBR Management Design, Build & test Master Batch Records. Update and maintain Master Batch Records. Creating & Maintaining MES master data items & equipment. Maintaining & creation of MES SOP’s & WI’s. MES Support MES Manufacturing (All Areas Lyo/OD/AI/PFS/Packaging) end user support & troubleshooting – Master Data/Inventory/EBR. CAPA/Deviation/Protocol/Rework Support. MES User Access Management. Interface (IDOC) management Responsible for the running of daily interface MES/ERP monitoring& error resolution. Work with end users to resolve open interface issues in a timely fashion. Provide metrics on interface performance. Projects Support E2E business process testing. Support NPI process design. Support above site Projects. Other tasks as directed. Compliance with all SOPs and WI’s associated with the role. Minimum Qualifications and Experience: 4-5-year experience in a Pharmaceutical/ Medical Device environment. Technology knowledge in MES application (Werum PAS-X) & ERP (SAP) system. Proven Track record in Business Support role. IT related qualification. Application Software validation Knowledge from FAT to PQ. Experience on supporting/developing MES & SCADA/PLCs environment. Good Understanding of Network, server &databases architecture. Proven ability to close out issues in a timely & effective manner. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Good problem solving and analytical skills. Strong Planning and organisation skills.
