A Maintenance Technician is required by CareerWise Recruitment for a Pharmaceutical multinational client based in Waterford. This is an initial 12-month on site contract. The ideal candidate will have a background in facilities maintenance and be a team player. THE ROLE: * To carry out repair and maintenance tasks of all Process and / or Facilities Equipment, so as to achieve an acceptable level of production output in full compliance with Quality and Safety and cGMP Standards. * Input of data into Maintenance PM System including the operation of such systems. * Generation and ownership of new equipment asset registration. * Compilation of data and schedules to generate preventative maintenance programs for new equipment. * Liaise with equipment vendors to define maintenance schedules, order and receive spare parts. REQUIREMENTS: * Junior & Senior Trade's Certificate or an equivalent third level qualification. * Previous experience working as a Maintenance Technician in a regulated manufacturing. environment an advantage.
