We are actively recruiting experienced Reception Manager for a busy 4* Hotel in Waterford. Your Role. *Under the general guidelines of the GM / DGM, to ensure the day-to-day Front Office operations are carried out in line with Department and Hotel standards. *To provide quality service to guests at all times, dealing with all complaints arising in a timely manner. *To carry out duties in accordance with statutory, health and safety requirements. *Assist with Front Desk activities / guest queries and check in / out of guests. *Deal with all payments, ensuring they are balanced and accurate. *Assist with the induction, training and supervision of all Team Members. *Track and monitor weekly customer feedback and respond as appropriate. *Review Brand Customer Service feedback targets and implement corrective action if / as required. *Ensure guest satisfaction indices and standards are maintained by the Reception Team. *To control all costs, including payroll, associated with the Department. * Motivate the Team Members towards achieving the Sales targets for Front Office. *To work with Reservations team in handling case load and maximising Front Office sales. *To ensure the brand loyalty targets are achieved in conjunction with Revenue / Guest Relations Manager. The Person. *Have 2/3 years previous management experience in Front Office Supervisory/ Management role, ideally in a 4 star hotel -100+ Rooms. *Have excellent interpersonal skills. *Be a genuine, friendly, welcoming person. *Have an appropriate 3rd level qualification in Hospitality/Hospitality Management or a relevant discipline. *Have extensive experience with Hotsoft, using, teaching, troubleshooting. *Be experienced with MS Office packages such as Outlook, Word, Excel, etc. *Be very flexible, being prepared to help out the rest of the Team in a willing and positive manner. *Have excellent attention to detail and instill this trait in all your team. *Have a pro-active approach to upselling. *Have excellent spoken and written English.
