Description

SAP Subject Matter Expert - County Waterford. JOB SUMMARY: In this role you will act as SAP SME for Inventory Management and Operations to ensure that any issues are resolved to meet site targets. Key Responsibilities : Ensures that there is regular communication to review KPI's through visual management tools & co-ordinate all training in order to perform assigned tasks across all areas. Monitor consumption of live process orders and transactions on SAP to ensure accuracy and zero downtime. Engage with operations personnel to identify & correct variances. Manage warehouse and vendor stock i.e. stock transferred to vendors, consumption of accurate stock to Purchase orders, and engage with key stakeholders (buyers, warehouse etc.) Oversee Cycle Count Process to ensure accuracy and alignment with corporate policy and performance metrics. Manage the Supply Chain activities in Material Scrapping process. Report Monthly cycle count performance to corporate and site. Ensure Operations and Inventory users including new hires are SAP trained, including upskilling, developing, and conducting refresher training for those individuals. Carry out all operational readiness for New Product Introduction and support Change Controls to ensure that all new products are SAP ready. Escalation of technical issues to the SAP Business team and SAP IT team. Ensure preventative testing is completed in SAPNSS sandbox for all new implementations or changes made in the test system to go live on Production system. Support operations personnel on a day to day basis to identify and resolve real time SAP issues. Creating and maintaining PowerBI and Tableau reports as required by Operations and Supply Chain. Work with stakeholders to define and prioritise improvement projects to improve existing operational processes and systems. Submit ideas for new enhancement on SAP. Apply lean tools to drive continuous improvement & process reliability. Participate in all 6S programmes related to inventory to ensure that housekeeping, GMP & Safety issues are resolved in a timely & systematic manner thus meeting all company safety, environmental and quality initiatives. Interested applicants should have at least a Level 7 Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, IT or a related discipline. Prior experience with SAP or similar ERP system. Prior experience with working with end users in a manufacturing environment is desirable. Excellent attention to detail. Advanced PC Skills. Strong technical writing, documentation, planning, organisational skills. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to work on own initiative and be pro-active. Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
