Practice nurse wanted (part-time)

We are looking for a Practice Nurse to join our well established team at the Fethard Medical Centre, Co. Tipperary.
We are an accredited practice with 1 GP Partner, a part time assistant, a Practice Manager and an excellent administration and reception team. We are fully computerised with the Health One Management System.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
- Phlebotomy
- Cervical Screening
- Immunisations including childhood Immunisations, seasonal & travel vaccines
- Chronic Disease Management
- Cardiology (ECG, Blood pressure monitor)
- Ear Syringing
- Wound Management
- Results Management
- Co-ordinating Diabetic Clinics
- Managing & ordering of clinic stock and equipment
The right candidate should be a registered General Nurse with An Bord Altranais, be enthusiastic, empathetic and professional, a good communicator who enjoys working as part of a team, have strong computer skills and have a flexible approach to work.
Previous experience is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided.
Competitive salary DOE.
This is a permanent part time position. A part time temporary contract will also be considered in the interim.
